Job summary

Roche Bros. is looking for a Bakery Department Associate to prepare, decorate, stock, and display bakery products while delivering friendly customer service. The role requires teamwork, English fluency, and adherence to sanitation standards.

You will greet customers, answer questions at the service counter, assist with cake decoration, catering orders, and ensure products are rotated and fresh in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English, with the ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work a schedule based on the business needs of the store location.
• Authorized to work within the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Commit to the “Golden Rule” and work with other associates to build a strong bakery team.
• Provide premier customer service, including greeting and responding to questions, assisting at the service counter, and offering product suggestions.
• Dynamically selling products by providing customers with information needed to make product-relation decisions.
• Operate the Bakery department mixer and other bakery equipment.
• Prepare and wrap bakery related products and maintain freshness and sanitation.
• Restock displays and rotate stock to meet FIFO policy.
• Assist with catering orders and special requests as needed.
