Job summary

Roche Bros. Supermarkets in Massachusetts is seeking a Cake Decorator to prepare, decorate, and display bakery products with focus on freshness, safety, and customer service. You will rotate stock, meet customer orders, decorate cakes per specs, and keep the display clean and organized.

You will work as part of a bakery team, adhere to sanitation standards, operate bakery equipment, and assist with catering orders and special events as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English, and follow instructions.
• Able to work as a team member and interact positively with customers.
• Authorized to work within the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Commit to the “Golden Rule” and work with other associates to build a strong bakery team.
• Provide premier customer service, including greeting and responding to questions, assisting at the service counter, and offering product suggestions.
• Dynamically selling products by providing customers with information needed to make product-related decisions.
• Icing, decorating, traying, packaging, labeling, pricing products for island refrigerated cases, and maintaining refrigerated service showcase.
• Operate the Bakery department mixer.
