Roche Bros. Supermarkets is seeking a Bakery Department Associate to ensure the department is well-stocked, clean, and customer-focused.

You will greet customers, answer questions, assist at the service counter, and help with cake decoration and custom orders. This role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions, with responsibilities including equipment operation, product rotation, and adherence to sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, with the ability to follow instructions.
• Authorized to work within the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Commit to the “Golden Rule” and work with other associates to build a strong bakery team.
• Provide premier customer service at the service counter and assist with cake decorating and product suggestions.
• Train other associates as needed.
• Operate the Bakery department mixer and maintain equipment.
• Stock and rotate bakery products, ensure freshness and sanitation.
• Assist with catering platter orders and custom cake requests, including wedding cakes and delivery setup.
• Follow Roche Bros. guidelines for Cake Decorators and prepare/bake products as required.
• Monitor and maintain cooler, freezer, and work areas to sanitation standards.
