Job summary

Roche Bros. Bakery is hiring a dedicated associate to support daily bakery operations in a fast-paced store setting. You will greet customers, suggest products, and assist with cake decorating and special orders. Maintain freshness, rotate stock, and ensure sanitary, organized displays.

The role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work a flexible schedule. Training and onboarding are provided, with emphasis on quality service and precise product preparation.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, with the ability to follow instructions.
• Authorized to work within the U.S.
• Ability to work a schedule based on the business needs of the store location.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and respond to questions, offering product suggestions.
• Dynamically selling products by providing customers with information needed to make product-related decisions.
• Follow Roche Bros. guidelines for Cake Decorators and prepare and wrap bakery products as needed.
• Icing, decorating, traying, packaging, labeling, pricing products for island refrigerated cases, and rotating stock.
• Fill customer special orders, including catering platters and wedding cake requests, and assist with delivery and setup.
• Operate bakery department mixer and maintain cleanliness and sanitation per company standards.
• Restock and use supplies efficiently to minimize waste and maintain low costs.
• Promote items on public address system and notify management of security issues or shrink.
• Complete onboarding/e-learnings within 30 days and perform other duties as assigned.
