Kroger Family of Companies in Sparks, NV is seeking a Bakery Department Associate to deliver outstanding customer service, maintain a safe, clean environment, and help the department meet sales and quality goals. You will engage customers, answer questions about bakery items, and support daily operations.

The role requires knowledge of bakery products, the ability to decorate cakes, stock shelves, check freshness, and follow store policies on health and safety.

Formación

• Retail experience required or preferred.
• Bakery/cake decorating experience is preferred.
• Ability to handle stressful situations professionally.
• Knowledge of basic math for transactions and measurements.
• Effective communication with customers and team.

Responsabilidades

• Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
• Assist department manager in reaching sales and profit goals for the department.
• Gain and maintain knowledge of products and respond to questions with suggestions.
• Offer product samples and assist in bakery item preparation per requests.
• Decorate cakes, pastries, cupcakes, cookies and other bakery items.
• Label, stock, sign, and inventory department merchandise.
• Adhere to health, safety, and quality standards per regulations.
