Job summary

Agincare is seeking an Activities Coordinator for maternity cover at Victory Care Home. You will design and run engaging activities, games, crafts, and one-to-one moments to brighten residents' days.

The role requires creativity, a warm personality, and the ability to work with the team and residents. A dementia care understanding is beneficial; 30 hours per week until March 2027, with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
• Maternity cover with the availability to commit to 30 hours per week until March 2027.
• Rota: Week 1: Mon–Fri with specific hours; Week 2: Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun with specific hours.
• Dementia care understanding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bring energy, creativity and fun into daily life for residents.
• Plan engaging activities, games, quizzes, crafts & one-to-one moments.
• Organise events like BBQs and Christmas parties.
• Arrange visits from entertainers & local businesses.
• Support movement and independence through fun physical activities.
• Lead social outings and in-home activities for all abilities.
