Job summary

Marine View Lodge Care Home is seeking an Activities Lead to develop and deliver a high quality, person-centred activities programme for residents, including those living with dementia. You will plan group and individual activities, build relationships to promote participation, and work closely with the Home Manager to ensure alignment with care plans.

The role requires creativity, strong organisational skills and the ability to maintain records and continuously improve the programme.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Activities Coordinator or similar role is essential.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities and events.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Confident, creative and proactive approach.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience supporting older people, including those living with dementia.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a high quality, person-centred activities programme.
• Plan and lead group and one-to-one activities tailored to individual needs.
• Build relationships to enable participation and social interaction.
• Collaborate with the Home Manager to ensure activities align with care plans.
• Maintain accurate records and review the programme to keep it engaging.
