Working alongside the Activity Director, you will assist in planning and leading engaging activities that promote resident participation, independence, and quality of life.
Position: Activity Assistant
Schedule: Full-Time, Wednesday-Sunday
Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Location: Peninsula Post-Acute
The Activity Assistant supports the Activity Director in developing and implementing a fun, creative, and interactive activities program that meets the individual interests and needs of residents. This position ensures activities are provided in accordance with federal, state, local, and facility guidelines while promoting resident engagement and well-being.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in a healthcare, long-term care, assisted living, or rehabilitation setting preferred.
Experience working with seniors is highly desirable.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to engage residents with varying physical and cognitive abilities.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer and documentation skills.
