Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of CRE underwriting or credit experience.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed due diligence on companies, industries, management teams, and other relevant information.
• Build detailed financial projection models to analyze capital structures, performance trends, and credit metrics.
• Prepare succinct underwriting memorandums with descriptions, risks, assumptions, and terms.
• Establish strong working partnerships with internal partners including other Underwriters, Debt Capital Markets, and Credit Risk.
• Manage multiple transactions and projects.
• Communicate status and priorities with deal team members under senior underwriters' direction.
• Demonstrate knowledge of credit policies and identify policy exceptions.
• Excel in team and self-directed settings.
• Train and develop Credit Analysts, reviewing work and coaching on memos and modeling.
• Maintain knowledge of credit policies, procedures, and terminology.
