CRE Finance Council is seeking a junior Business Development Officer to originate CRE and SBA loans, connecting borrowers with financing and support. You will manage relationships with developers, brokers, and industry professionals to grow the loan portfolio and meet profitability goals.

The role emphasizes market development, deal sourcing, and collaboration with underwriting and credit teams to ensure smooth funding processes and timely closings.

Responsibilities

• Source, structure and originate CRE and SBA loans that meet credit standards.
• Conduct initial deal qualification including borrower financials and collateral assessment.
• Partner with underwriting and closing teams for timely funding.
• Build and manage a healthy deal pipeline and meet production goals.
• Provide market feedback to leadership on opportunities and product enhancements.
