Job summary

Associated Bank is seeking a credit professional to analyze borrower and market data, monitor CRE portfolio performance, and support relationship managers across lending processes. You will participate in loan approvals, risk assessment, and due diligence while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

The role emphasizes collaboration with credit teams and operations to manage complex client opportunities, with a focus on delivering accurate risk insights and trusted relationship

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of CRE lending, underwriting, portfolio management, or credit approval experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with complex credit relationships.

Responsibilities

• Analyze borrower, guarantor, property, and market financial information to evaluate loan requests.
• Monitor portfolio performance and risk ratings for CRE relationships.
• Review loan repayment activity and borrower financial condition to identify risk.
• Ensure portfolio administration complies with lending policies and regulatory requirements.
• Minimize portfolio exceptions by managing reporting, covenants, and past due items.
• Partner with Relationship Managers to support client relationships and coordinate with Credit and operations.
• Assist with due diligence for prospective client opportunities.
• Participate in loan approvals and present credit recommendations.
