Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. seeks a CRE Portfolio Manager I to service and deepen profitable commercial relationships within the CRE portfolio.

You will evaluate risks, monitor credits, and coordinate with Relationship Managers and leadership to optimize revenue and maintain risk controls. The role emphasizes collaboration with RM teams, performing portfolio reviews, and presenting credit actions to Senior Loan Committee.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, accounting or demonstrated knowledge and expertise
• 1+ year Commercial credit experience
• 3+ yrs experience Portfolio Manager and/or credit analysis experience

Responsibilities

• Owns primary responsibility for the credit and monitoring of Commercial portfolio risks
• Responsible for underwriting quality, portfolio administration, and credit quality of assigned portfolio working with leadership
• Assist in optimizing customer relationships to grow fees, deposits, and portfolio revenue
• Manage delinquencies, collateral exceptions, borrowing base, portfolio reviews, and special reporting
• Work with Relationship Managers and team to effectively grow revenue from the portfolio
• Present proposed credit actions in written analyses and to Senior Loan Committee as needed
• Conduct portfolio reviews with senior management
• Mentor Credit Analysts to develop required competencies
• Prioritize work to meet customer expectations
• Analyze existing portfolio to identify trends and opportunities
• Maintain knowledge of market/industry trends
