Job summary

Trustmark Bank in Homewood, AL is seeking a Real Estate Assistant at Level I or II to support the real estate loan process from application through closing and after closing portfolio management.

Level II adds specialized real estate knowledge for documentation perfection, reviews, renewals, and coordinating with attorneys, appraisers, and insurers.

You will handle post-closing servicing, draws, exceptions, and referrals, with emphasis on accuracy, teamwork, and strong Microsoft Word/Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of knowledge of commercial real estate collateral and loan documentation.
• Experience with loan closing and post-closing activities.
• Familiarity with bank policies and loan software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Process real estate loan applications through closing and into portfolio management.
• Assist with post-closing servicing, draws, and exceptions.
• Coordinate with lenders, attorneys, appraisers, and staff.
• Provide administrative support to lenders and managers.
• Make referrals and support sales development.
