Job summary

JLL is seeking a Leasing Advisory Intern in Miami, FL to support senior brokers, gather market data, and prepare materials for client engagements. You will work on leasing brokerage activities, gain exposure to sourcing, securing, and servicing clients on both Occupier and Landlord sides, and develop Excel-based analytical tools.

This on-site internship runs June 7, 2027 - August 13, 2027, with no relocation or visa sponsorship provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Previous internship experience in a professional environment.
• Permanent US work authorization.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze both qualitative and quantitative information.
• Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• A strong interest in pursuing a career path as a commissioned Broker.

Responsibilities

• Support senior brokers with business development by initiating outreach to new leads, managing prospect data, and organizing historical client activity.
• Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data to assist with client deliverables and presentations.
• Assist with the preparation of offering materials, pitch decks, and other presentations for new business pursuits.
• Read, review, and abstract real estate documents such as leases and operating expense statements for clients.
• Create and use sophisticated Excel-based analytical tools and financial models for ad-hoc analysis.
• Shadow senior brokers in transaction negotiations, evaluations, and documentation.
• Serve as a technology champion, promoting and supporting the use of JLL's brokerage software and CRM programs.
