Job summary

JLL invites you to join the Leasing Advisory Intern program in Houston, TX, to start your career in the fast-paced CRE brokerage environment. You will support leasing brokerage activities on both Occupier and Landlord sides and gain exposure to sourcing, securing, and servicing clients.

This internship runs June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027. You will work with senior brokers on business development, data gathering, and preparing materials, while promoting JLL's brokerage software and CRM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• Previous internship experience in a professional environment.
• Permanent US work authorization.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze both qualitative and quantitative information.
• Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• A strong interest in pursuing a career path as a commissioned Broker.

Responsibilities

• Support senior brokers with business development by initiating outreach to new leads, managing prospect data, and organizing historical client activity.
• Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data to assist with client deliverables and presentations.
• Assist with the preparation of offering materials, pitch decks, and other presentations for new business pursuits.
• Read, review, and abstract real estate documents such as leases and operating expense statements for clients.
• Create and use sophisticated Excel-based analytical tools and financial models for ad-hoc analysis.
• Shadow senior brokers in transaction negotiations, evaluations, and documentation.
• Serve as a technology champion, promoting and supporting the use of JLL's brokerage software and CRM programs.
