Job summary

Lument is seeking an Associate to manage a portfolio of loans and insurance obligations, ensuring coverage meets loan documents and investor requirements. The role involves analyzing property, liability, and regional perils to mitigate gaps, with communication to Borrowers, Agents, and Brokers.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years in commercial real estate mortgage insurance or related fields, and strong Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in commercial real estate mortgage insurance compliance or related fields.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize assignments; meet deadlines with accuracy.
• Strong Excel and general software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Review and renew insurance policy information to ensure compliance with loan documents and investor requirements.
• Remediate non-compliant insurance issues through information requests and coordination with agents/brokers and borrowers.
• Respond promptly to inquiries, ensuring proper notification and escalation as needed.
• Monitor reports and deadlines; communicate portfolio status to manager or team lead.
• Utilize Servicing System and other software to facilitate insurance reviews.
