Job summary

Truist is seeking a CRE Insurance Associate/Analyst to oversee insurance monitoring and compliance for commercial loans. This role supports the Servicing and Asset Management department and leads a team of Insurance Analysts, ensuring adherence to lender guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include reviewing waivers, managing renewals, and coordinating with lenders and insurers. The position requires strong Excel/Office skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial property insurance.
• Knowledge of commercial property insurance policies and ability to read/interpret them.
• Experience in insurance compliance and government regulations.

Responsibilities

• Quality control and oversight for insurance waiver requests and analyses.
• Lead and mentor Insurance Analysts within the team.
• Review and approve premium disbursements and related documentation.
• Coordinate with lenders, borrowers, and insurers to resolve non-compliance issues.
• Monitor insurance processes to ensure timely evidence of coverage and invoices.
• Assist with audits and responses for Insurance-related activities.
