Job summary

Mestdagh, Wall & Hamilton, P.A. seeks an experienced Commercial Real Estate Escrow & Title Agent in Florida to manage closing transactions from start to finish. You will handle title commitments, escrow instructions, and closing documents while coordinating with buyers, lenders, and attorneys.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in CRE title work, strong organization, and excellent communication skills. A license and familiarity with Qualia/Microsoft Office are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in commercial real estate title, escrow, settlement, or closing.
• Strong knowledge of title insurance, escrow procedures, and closing requirements.
• Experience handling complex commercial transactions (purchases, sales, refinances, acquisitions).
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial real estate transactions from opening through closing and post-closing.
• Review agreements, title commitments, surveys, and loan documents for accuracy.
• Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, attorneys, brokers, and developers to close.
• Identify title defects, liens, and exceptions; resolve issues with underwriters and attorneys.
• Prepare escrow instructions, settlement statements, closing documents, and title policies.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure funds are documented and disbursed correctly.
