Job summary

Matthews™ is seeking an Associate in our Capital Markets division to specialize in debt origination for commercial real estate assets. The role combines rigorous training with hands-on underwriting and proactive outreach to property owners and lenders.

You will become an expert in CRE analysis, leverage Matthews’ platform and CRM, and collaborate with Sales Leaders to drive long-term relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related field.
• Strong interest in commercial real estate finance and capital markets.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Solid mathematical aptitude with the ability to perform financial analysis and underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Complete Matthews Intensive training program.
• Become an expert in commercial real estate analysis and underwriting.
• Relentlessly and proactively reach out to owners of commercial real estate.
• Make 100+ cold calls daily to investment property owners.
• Maintain detailed records of activity on Matthews’ CRM system.
• Utilize Matthews’ tools and technology to win business and build relationships with owners and lenders.
• Provide clients with financial analysis and underwriting of investment real estate.
• Work with Sales Leaders and Mentors to curate a business plan.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Management.
