Job summary

Calvert Systems Engineering, Incorporated seeks a seasoned CRC Operational Requirements professional to support battle management functions such as integrated air and missile defense, weapons control, and datalink management at Hampton, VA. The role requires SECRET clearance and US citizenship, with travel up to 10%.

You will develop, review, and validate requirement and programmatic documentation, advising leadership on policies and CRC improvements.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience as a USAF Air Battle Manager or equivalent DoD job code
• OR 15 years as Aerospace Control and Warning Systems Operator or equivalent
• 3 years experience with CRC weapons system operations and initiatives
• 4 years as project/program manager leading as senior project lead
• 3 years in USAF HQ staff environment producing decision documents and briefings

Responsibilities

• Provide CRC operational employment to support battle management functions including air and missile defense, weapons control, airspace management, and datalink management.
• Liaise with program offices and CRCs to stay current on weapon system capabilities and advise leadership on policies.
• Develop and review requirement documents and planning/programming documents.
• Advise leadership and optimize CRC requirements processes, manning, and equipment capabilities.
• Participate as Requirements SME in CRC exercises, tests, and staff events for sustainment and modernization.
• Coordinate with branch leadership to position CRC in strategic plans and budget inputs.
• Analyze costs, schedules, and technical performance to meet warfighter needs.
• Prepare programmatic documents and requirement documentation and coordinate with subordinate units.
