Job summary

All-Lift Systems, Inc. is seeking a Crane Technician to join our Iron Mountain, MI team. You will install, inspect, maintain and repair hoist and crane equipment, ensuring safety and quality in every service call.

The role requires 5+ years of crane and hoist troubleshooting, experience with 3-phase motors and VFDs, and the ability to work at height in noisy, hot environments. You will interact with customers and uphold safety and reliability standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years troubleshooting cranes and hoist equipment.
• Experience with 3-phase motors, VFDs, contactors, and circuits.
• Overhead crane and scissor lift experience required.
• Associate’s degree with concentration in Industrial Electrician, Electro-Mechanical Technology preferred.
• Ability to work at height in extreme temperatures and noisy locations; physically demanding.

Responsibilities

• Service overhead crane systems and hoists, performing quality installations.
• Perform OSHA-equivalent inspections and warranty work; troubleshoot breakdowns.
• Provide preventive maintenance and respond to emergency service calls.
• Interface with customers and office to repair equipment as needed.
• Perform electrical and/or mechanical adjustments or repairs with/without diagrams.
• Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, and organization on all tasks.
• Develop a working knowledge of applicable codes for overhead cranes and hoists.
