Job summary

Lift Solutions Holdings in Iron Mountain, MI is hiring a Crane Technician to perform installations, inspections and preventive maintenance on overhead cranes and hoists. You will troubleshoot breakdowns, document service actions and work with customers to resolve issues while maintaining safety and compliance with codes.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and independent problem solving.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ troubleshooting cranes and hoist equipment required.
• Experience with 3-phase motors, VFDs, contactors, and circuits.
• Overhead crane and scissor lift experience required.
• Ability to work at height in extreme temperatures and noisy locations.

Responsibilities

• Service overhead crane systems and hoists with quality installations.
• Perform OSHA-equivalent inspections and troubleshoot breakdowns.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and respond to emergency calls.
• Interface with customers and office to repair equipment as needed.
• Maintain documentation via forms, reports and inspection checklists.
