Job summary

Lift Solutions Holdings, LLC in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Crane Service Technician to join our team. You will provide quality installation, inspections, maintenance and repair service for hoist and crane equipment.

This hands-on role requires the ability to work at height, lift 50–100 lbs, travel locally, and maintain professional customer interactions while ensuring safety and compliance with federal, state, and local codes.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ troubleshooting cranes and hoist equipment.
• Electrical knowledge of 3-phase motors, VFDs, contactors, and circuits.
• Overhead crane and scissor lift experience required.
• Local travel to customers daily.

Responsibilities

• Service overhead crane systems and hoists by performing quality installations.
• Perform OSHA-equivalent inspections; document warranty work; troubleshoot breakdowns.
• Perform preventive maintenance; respond to emergency service calls.
• Interface with customers and internal departments to repair equipment as needed.
• Perform electrical and/or mechanical adjustments or repairs with or without engineered drawings.
• Maintain rapport with customers by promptly reviewing and addressing complaints; suggest improvements.
