Job summary

Lift Solutions Holdings is seeking a Crane Technician to join our team in Mobile, AL. The role involves installing, inspecting, maintaining and repairing hoist and crane equipment nationwide, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of troubleshooting cranes and hoist equipment, experience with 3-phase motors, VFDs and contactors, and a valid driver’s license. You will work at height in noisy environments, performing inspections and routine maintenance

Qualifications

• 5+ years troubleshooting cranes and hoist equipment
• Experience with 3-phase motors, VFDs, contactors, and circuits
• Overhead crane and scissor lift experience
• Associate’s degree in Industrial Electrician or Electro-Mechanical Technology preferred
• Ability to work at height and in extreme temperatures; physically demanding
• Perform inspections to OSHA criteria
• Ability to work independently
• Capable of professional customer interaction; communicate status clearly
• Must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Must use own hand tools and meter

Responsibilities

• Service overhead crane systems and hoists with quality installations
• Perform OSHA-equivalent inspections and warranty work; troubleshoot breakdowns
• Conduct preventive maintenance and respond to emergency service calls
• Interface with customers and office to repair equipment
• Make electrical and/or mechanical adjustments with or without drawings
• Document service actions via reports and inspection checklists
• Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, and organization
• Develop working knowledge of crane and hoist codes
• Maintain company equipment and tools
