Job summary

Maxim Crane Services is seeking a skilled heavy equipment mechanic to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair crane systems from body to engines and electrical or computer systems.

The role requires extensive crane experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read manuals and blueprints. You will work on booms, hydraulics, and electrical systems and may need CDL eligibility. This position is on-site at various locations with extensive field opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' mechanical crane experience.
• 3+ years' experience in diesel, gasoline, and propane engines.
• CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on diesel engines, booms, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Operate hoists, forklifts, and hand trucks to move heavy equipment.
• Inspect machines to diagnose defects and plan repairs.
