Job summary

Maxim Crane Works, L.P. is seeking a skilled Crane Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair crane systems across our fleet.

This role covers engines, hydraulics, electrical components, and related machinery, with duties spanning preventive maintenance and on-site repairs at Fort Worth facilities. Qualified applicants will have 5+ years of mechanical experience in crane-related work and a CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic ability to read blueprints and manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Good time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel engines, booms, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Operate hoists, forklifts, and hand trucks to move heavy material and equipment.
• Inspect machines to diagnose defects and determine repairs.
• Test equipment after repair to ensure performance and OEM compliance.
• Clean, lubricate and maintain equipment and vehicles as needed.
• Read operating manuals and blueprints; install replacement parts as required.
