Job summary

American Equipment Holdings is seeking a Crane Service Technician in Omaha, NE to perform on-site maintenance, repairs, and modernizations on electric overhead cranes. You will consult with customers on repair and safety issues and document work on service reports.

The role requires 2+ years electro-mechanical maintenance, AC/DC theory, and 480VAC 3-phase motor control knowledge, with travel as needed and a company vehicle provided. A.A. degree or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• A.A. degree or equivalent vocational-training or experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on electro-mechanical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of AC/DC theory and 480VAC 3-phase motor control.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site preventative maintenance, repairs, and modernizations on electric overhead traveling cranes.
• Consult with customers on repair and safety related issues.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and breakdowns.
• Generate sales leads during service calls.
• Accurately document service reports for the work performed.
• New crane wiring, assembly, installation, and start-up.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Travel may be required; a company service vehicle is provided.
