Job summary

This role collaborates with field technicians, service staff, and branch leadership to define repair scopes, present proposals, and support service revenue and profitability goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in technical estimating or related role.
• Ability to interpret inspection reports, schematics, and equipment documentation.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; NetSuite experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED; trade school or military training preferred.
• Valid driver's license in good standing; pre-employment screenings required.

Responsibilities

• Review crane inspection reports to identify repair requirements, labor, parts, and equipment needs.
• Establish accurate repair scopes with service technicians and internal staff.
• Prepare competitive, accurate, and profitable repair estimates per pricing guidelines.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to customers, present proposals, and address questions.
• Follow up on estimates to obtain approvals and advance opportunities.
• Maintain quote records and customer communications in NetSuite.
• Collaborate with Service Specialist and branch leadership to resolve complex opportunities.
• Assist field technicians with component identification and repair estimation.
• Participate in weekly branch production meetings to review quotes and pipeline.
