Job summary

Adena Corporation is seeking a Crane Operator to safely move heavy equipment on various crane platforms. You will operate tower, mobile, crawler, and other cranes, following load charts and crane signals to ensure precise lifts.

The role requires vigilance with safety protocols, routine inspections, and collaboration with the Foreman and Safety Department. A strong work ethic and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• NCCER/NCCCO Rigging Certification a plus.
• Experience operating heavy equipment or cranes preferred.
• Must obtain/training certifications prior to operating equipment
• Experience with rigging equipment (shackles, straps, slings, rope, hoists).
• Strong knowledge of lifting signals and crane operating principles.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes to move heavy equipment and materials.
• Read load charts for different machines.
• Follow industry standard signals during lifts.
• Maneuver loads safely around obstacles with rigging techniques.
• Perform routine inspections and report defects.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to safety policies.
