Job summary

Diversified Construction & Design is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to support heavy lifting operations on a variety of job sites. The Crane Operator will safely operate company cranes to perform lifts in accordance with lift plans, load charts, and site safety requirements.

We operate multiple cranes including 15-ton, 30-ton, 50-ton, and 100-ton cranes. Benefits include health insurance, 401k with company match, and Paid Time Off.

Qualifications

• Current NCCCO certification (or NCCER equivalent).
• Strong OSHA safety knowledge and crane operation standards.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes to lift, move, and place loads safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and document findings.
• Set up crane properly, including outrigger placement, cribbing/plates, and leveling.
• Read and follow load charts, lift plans, and site-specific safety procedures.
• Inspect rigging equipment and verify loads are properly secured prior to lifting.
• Communicate with rigger/signal person using hand signals and/or radio.
• Ensure all lifts remain within approved limits and stop work if unsafe conditions exist.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and report repair needs.

• Operate cranes to lift, move, and place loads safely and efficiently.

Requirements
