Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to read load charts for lifting equipment.
• Good eyesight, hearing and coordination for safe operation.
• Ability to follow written/verbal instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment (crane, forklift, trackhoe, skid loader, dozer, backhoe, loader, etc.).
• Reads load charts and follows lifting procedures for safety.
• Reports problems to Foreman, Superintendent or Safety Director.
• Performs routine equipment inspections and notifies defects.
• Maintains and cleans equipment; adheres to OSHA safety policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
