Primoris Heavy Civil in Jefferson, LA seeks a skilled Crane Operator to lift, move, and position heavy materials on construction sites while maintaining the highest safety standards. You will operate hydraulic and lattice boom cranes, perform pre-operation inspections, read load charts, and communicate with ground crews to coordinate lifts.

A valid NCCCO certification and 3–5 years of civil construction crane experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid NCCCO or equivalent crane operator certification.
• 3–5 years of verifiable heavy crane operation experience.
• Ability to read load charts, blueprints, and plans.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks.
• Willingness to work extended hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate hydraulic, lattice boom and other cranes to lift/move materials.
• Perform pre-operation crane inspections and check rigging equipment.
• Interpret load charts and lifting plans; follow hand signals.
• Coordinate lifts with ground crews and supervisors for safe handling.
• Maintain daily logs of crane operations and maintenance.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
