Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid NCCCO or equivalent crane operator certification.
• 3–5 years of verifiable heavy crane experience in civil construction.
• Ability to read and interpret load charts, blueprints, and construction plans.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydraulic and lattice boom cranes to hoist and move materials.
• Perform pre-operation inspections of cranes and rigging equipment.
• Interpret load charts, lifting plans, and hand signals.
• Coordinate lifts with ground crews and supervisors to ensure safety.
• Adhere to company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain daily logs of crane operations and inspections.
• Troubleshoot minor operational issues and perform basic maintenance.
• Ensure loads are secured and crane maneuvering is safe in varying conditions.
• Participate in pre-task planning and safety briefings.
