Job summary

Primoris Services Corp. is seeking a reliable Crane Operator for Primoris Heavy Civil in Jefferson, LA. You will operate hydraulic and lattice boom cranes to lift steel beams, concrete forms, and heavy equipment, following load charts and safety procedures.

Require NCCCO certification, 3–5 years of crane experience in civil construction, and ability to read blueprints. You will perform inspections, maintain daily logs, and coordinate with ground crews and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• NCCCO or equivalent crane certification for the type of cranes operated.
• 3–5 years of verifiable experience operating heavy cranes in a civil construction environment.
• Ability to read and interpret load charts, blueprints, and construction plans.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and physical exam; willingness to work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate hydraulic, lattice boom, and other cranes to hoist and move materials.
• Perform pre-operation inspections of cranes and rigging equipment.
• Interpret load charts, lifting plans, and hand signals from signal persons and riggers.
• Coordinate lifts with ground crews and supervisors to ensure safe material handling.
• Adhere to safety policies, OSHA regulations, and industry best practices.
• Maintain accurate daily logs of crane operations and maintenance activities.
