Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of crane operation on heavy civil construction projects.
• Valid NCCCO certification for relevant crane types.
• Ability to read and interpret load charts, plans, and safety manuals.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydraulic and lattice boom cranes on road construction projects.
• Perform pre-operational checks, inspections, and routine maintenance.
• Read load charts, blueprints, and rigging diagrams for safe lifts.
• Coordinate with signal persons, riggers, and team members.
• Adhere to safety policies, OSHA regulations, and site plans.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors about hazards.
• Monitor crane stability and adjust operations as needed.
• Report equipment issues promptly and assist with rigging as required.
• Keep work area around crane clean and organized.
