Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking an experienced crane operator to hoist and move materials on construction sites in Holden, LA. The role requires strict safety adherence and precise lifting operations.

Responsibilities include operating various cranes, reading load charts, performing inspections, and maintaining clear communication with the ground crew and supervisors. Candidates should have NCCCO certification and 3–5 years of verifiable experience, with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• NCCCO certification for crane type.
• 3–5 years of verifiable crane operator experience.
• Ability to read load charts and blueprints.
• Strong rigging knowledge and safety focus.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydraulic, lattice boom, and other cranes to lift and place heavy materials and equipment.
• Read load charts, blueprints, and signals to determine lift procedures and placement.
• Perform daily pre-operation crane inspections and document findings.
• Maintain clear communication with ground crew and supervisors during lifts.
• Ensure crane and load stability through proper rigging and load securement.
• Follow company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and local codes for crane operation.
• Conduct routine crane maintenance and lubrication as needed.
• Identify and report crane malfunctions or defects to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with other on-site tasks when not operating the crane.
