Qualifications

Schedule

Monday – Friday: 5:00AM – 4:00PM
Saturday: 5:00AM – 12:00PM

What You’ll Bring (Required)

• 2+ years of experience operating mobile or crawler cranes (Liebherr, Sennebogen or Link‑Belt)
• Knowledge of scrap metal types and grading
• Strong self‑motivation and ability to work independently
• Basic math, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to support others
• Ability to follow and communicate instructions clearly
• Willful compliance with physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation
• High School Diploma or GED (fully paid GEDWorks program available)

What You’ll Do

• Sort scrap materials by type and quality
• Operate E‑crane or crawler crane to load trucks, railcars, and balers
• Move crane equipment throughout the yard as needed
• Maintain material flow by cleaning out scrap spreads
• Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a team‑focused environment
• Support continuous improvement efforts across yard operations

Physical Requirements

• Constant sitting, occasional pushing and pulling
• Minimal standing, walking, climbing, balancing, and reaching
