Job summary

Hoist & Crane Service Group in Ohio is seeking a Technician specialized in heavy equipment crane maintenance and repair. You will perform preventative maintenance, lubricate parts, and troubleshoot crane systems at customer sites, with a safety-first mindset.

On-call availability and after-hours or weekend service may be required to meet customer needs; strong communication with the service team and willingness to travel between branches is essential.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years crane experience in an industrial setting
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Must commit to safe work and driving practices
• Able to work at various heights and off-ground as needed
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow instructions

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and upgrading hoists and cranes at customer sites
• Perform OSHA-required inspections and generate reports
• On-call availability and after-hours service as required
• Coordinate with Service Manager and Branch Manager to schedule work
• Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles safely and responsibly
• Participate in trainings and company programs
