Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, operations management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of crane industry experience, including operations or service.
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Experience in managing a team of direct reports.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Customer service minded.
• Contract Management experience.
• Ability to leverage resources to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Manage team or subcontractors.
• Extensive Travel (75 %) to jobsites and office locations to meet with preconstruction for budgeting, vendor meetings, conferences and other business development functions
• Communicate with Executives within Brasfield & Gorrie and other companies
• Create and present department strategic initiatives to company management
• Evaluate current crane/hoist processes and procedures and identify opportunities for process improvement
• Maintain an understanding of the crane and hoist department operations
• Understand and enforce general industry safety standards
• Manage lift planning processes
• Develop strategic relationships internally and externally
• Identify industry trends that will impact Brasfield and Gorrie
