Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking an Crane and Hoist Assistant Preconstruction Manager to support planning and execution of crane and hoist operations during preconstruction. The role requires CAD skills and collaboration with design teams to integrate crane requirements into project plans.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5 years of preconstruction experience, with strong communication and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in preconstruction.
• Working knowledge of CAD.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
• Experience with cranes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to assess crane and hoist requirements for upcoming projects.
• Support preconstruction plans for crane and hoist operations, including site layout and logistics.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify challenges and solutions.
• Coordinate with vendors to secure equipment and ensure timely delivery.
• Create detailed design plans and site layouts using CAD software.
• Maintain knowledge of industry standards and best practices for crane operations.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to integrate crane requirements into project plans.
• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for crane and hoist operations.
• Provide technical support during bidding and proposals.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and STCKY initiatives.
• Train and mentor junior staff on crane preconstruction procedures and safety.
