Job summary

Barnhart Crane & Rigging is seeking an experienced operations support manager to work onsite, layout cranes and equipment, and support field execution.

You will travel with the crew, manage lift plans, coordinate loading and trucking, and ensure safety programs are followed while driving customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes servant leadership, mentoring, and continuous improvement across branch operations.

Qualifications

• Understanding of servant leadership principles.
• 10+ years of industry experience or similar.
• Ability to coach others and mentor.
• Proficient with basic computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Layout cranes and equipment onsite to support operations.
• Travel with crew and manage lift plans and customer expectations.
• Attend handoff meetings and communicate field expectations.
• Coordinate equipment needs, inspections, load lists, and trucking.
• Ensure safety programs are followed and manage job hazards.
• Participate in customer/site meetings and internal reviews.
