Qualifications

• 5+ years in crane, rigging, or heavy lifting industry with project engineering experience.
• PE license preferred; OSHA 10 required/desired.
• Ability to perform detailed load calculations and structural analyses for safe lifting operations.
• Proficiency with CAD, 3D modeling software, and industry tools (AutoCAD, Inventor, Lift Planner).
• Knowledge of OSHA, AISC, ASME, ANSI standards for lifting operations.
• Experience with ERP systems, scheduling software, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Guide junior branch engineers and review their work.
• Oversee pre-contract engineering for high-risk lift projects.
• Collaborate with sales, site teams, and clients to align technical work with proposals.
• Create detailed lift plans considering load calculations and equipment capacities.
• Ensure lifting operations comply with OSHA, ASME, AISC, and ANSI standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigate operational risks.
• Mentor engineers to improve safety and efficiency.
