Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; associates degree preferred.
• CDL required.
• 5+ years mechanical experience in crane-related field.
• 3+ years diesel, gasoline, and propane engine experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on diesel engines, booms, electrical and hydraulic systems, brakes and other components.
• Operate hoists, forklifts, and hand trucks to move, dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment.
• Inspect machines to diagnose defects, faults, or malfunctions and determine repairs.
• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and OEM specifications.
• Read manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings; read and interpret operating instructions.
