Bigge Crane and Rigging Co. is seeking a Field Service Mechanic to repair and maintain rough terrain, crawler, and mobile crane equipment, with a focus on service. Travel and on-call nights/weekends are required.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of experience, a high school diploma, and strong abilities in electrical, hydraulic, and drive-train systems. Willingness to travel and work with customers is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience repairing and maintaining rough terrain, crawler, and mobile crane equipment.
• Ability to read schematics (hydraulic and electrical).
• On-call nights and weekends for crane repairs and travel on short notice.
• High school diploma required; vocational training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical issues in electrical, drive train, engines, and hydraulics.
• Be on-call nights and weekends for crane repairs at customer job sites.
• Travel on short notice, sometimes overnight.
• Read schematics and communicate effectively with customers and supervisors.
