Job summary

Walter Payton Power Equipment is seeking an Equipment Rental Specialist to manage crane and equipment rentals, inventory, and related admin duties. You will coordinate all rental activity, work with outside sales reps and customers, and ensure contracts and insurance are in order.

The role requires a High School Diploma and 2+ years in sales, customer service, or rental coordination, with MS Outlook/Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years in sales, customer service, sales or rental coordinator roles.
• Knowledge of construction equipment and office practices; strong customer service and filing maintenance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Office & Excel; CDK and Salesforce a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day rental activities and functions for the company.
• Generate revenue from equipment rentals with outside sales reps and customers.
• Schedule rentals, deliveries, demos, and answer calls; manage repair/maintenance of fleet.
• Prepare sales and rental contracts; ensure paperwork and insurance are in order.
• Coordinate with service and sales to confirm equipment priorities and ready-to-rent status.
