W.O. Grubb Crane Rental is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate, schedule, and assign labor and equipment to deliver timely crane rental services.

The role requires discretion, strong communication, and the ability to work long hours including weekends and holidays. The positions involves monitoring equipment/personnel, preparing dispatch reports, coordinating with branch managers, and maintaining customer relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Monitors and maintains a log of all equipment and personnel.
• Ensures compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Operates and maintains office equipment and dispatch software.
• Prepares daily dispatch reports and determines schedules.
• Evaluates DOT regulations and compliance actions.
• Allocates labor and equipment; maintains communication with operators and drivers.
• Coordinates with branch managers to optimize scheduling and resource use.
• Acts as liaison between customers, sales staff, operators, and operations.
• Manages layoffs when work declines and adjusts staffing accordingly.
• Assesses weather impacts and suspends activities as needed.
• Creates maps/direction charts to comply with permit laws.
• Maintains customer relationships and handles complaints.
• Takes orders from customers and enters crane rental agreements.
• Reviews job tickets and maintains crane rental schedules.
