Job summary

Edison Foard, Inc. is seeking full-time commercial craftworkers/carpenters in Charlotte, NC. You will be involved in all areas of the construction process, responsible for constructing, erecting, installing or repairing structures and fixtures made of various materials.

The position requires carpentry knowledge, own tools, reliable transportation, ability to read safety rules and blueprints, and a commitment to safety on site.

Qualifications

• Relevant carpentry knowledge and experience.
• Own your own basic hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, blueprints & procedures manuals.
• Ability to perform manual construction work.
• Ability to lift approximately 35-40 pounds.
• OSHA certification, preferred.
• Follows safety protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols on construction sites.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Have relevant carpentry knowledge and experience

• Ability to work 8-10 hours per day
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, blueprints & procedures manuals.
• Ability to perform manual construction work
• Ability to lift approximately 35-40 pounds
• Uphold, support and promote all company policies and procedures
• OSHA certification, preferred
• Follows safety protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment. You must adhere to regulations and industry standards.
