RES seeks a Craft – Substation Technician for T&D responsible for operating, constructing, and maintaining electrical substations and battery substations under supervision. The role involves installing conduits, steel structures, and MV/HV switches, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Required is a High School Diploma/GED and 1+ year substation experience preferred; travel 5–15% is expected. Benefits are provided and per diem is offered during rotation.

Summary

The Craft – Substation Technician – T&D will be under general supervision and performs the work in the operation, construction, and maintenance of Electrical Substations and Battery Substations.

Requirements

• General construction of electrical substations.
• Underground and above ground conduit.
• Installs steel structures, electrical substations, and battery substations.
• Installs MV/HV switches and other electrical equipment.
• Assists in the layout and concrete placement of drilled peers.
• Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
• Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.
• Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
• Operating equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED Required.
• 1+ year working on electrical substations preferred.
• Or Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver’s License Required.
• Ability to travel 5-15%.
• Install AG/BG conduit.
• Pulling control cable/general knowledge of terminating.

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.

Per Diem of $95.00 daily to cover lodging, meals and travel during rotation.
