Job summary

RES is seeking a Craft – Substation Technician – T&D in Buckeye, AZ. Under general supervision, you will perform the construction, operation, and maintenance of electrical substations and battery substations.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 1 year in substations, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel 5-15%. You will install MV/HV switches, conduit, and supporting structures, while upholding safety and quality standards.

Summary

The Craft – Substation Technician – T&D will be under general supervision and performs the work in the operation, construction, and maintenance of Electrical Substations and Battery Substations.

Requirements

• General construction of electrical substations.
• Underground and above ground conduit.
• Installs steel structures, electrical substations, and battery substations.
• Installs MV/HV switches and other electrical equipment.
• Assists in the layout and concrete placement of drilled peers.
• Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
• Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.
• Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
• Operating equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED Required.
• 1+ year working on electrical substations preferred.
• Or Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver’s License Required.
• Ability to travel 5-15%.
• Install AG/BG conduit.
• Pulling control cable/general knowledge of terminating.

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.

Per Diem of $95.00 daily to cover lodging, meals and travel during rotation.
