Job summary

RES is seeking a Craft – Apprentice Lineman to safely perform Civil/Electrical duties at project sites and participate in overhead/underground service work. The role requires completing an accredited apprenticeship and a high school diploma, with 76-100% domestic travel and strong safety focus.

Anticipated base salary range: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour, plus a daily per diem of $95. Benefits start on day one, including medical/dental/vision and a 401(k) with company match.

• Experienced sticking and gloving.
• Interest in a program of self-development.
• Willing to accept increased responsibilities.
• Functional competencies include attention to detail, communication, casting the right shadow, accountability, and ethics and integrity.

Job description

Summary:

The Craft – Apprentice Lineman is responsible for safely and efficiently performing Civil/Electrical duties at the project site.

Requirements:

• Climbs wood poles, lattice structures, and works off steel mono pole structures.
• Clips over-head structures.
• Assists in the construction of new overhead and underground services and service upgrades.
• Operates bucket truck, digger derek, back-hoe, production digger, tensioner, and rope puller.

• Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.

Safety:

• Ensures that safety is the most important function and follows safe practices while working.
• Reinforces safe behaviors and eliminates "at risk" behaviors.
• Ensures Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs) occurs before scopes of work commence.
• Adheres to and understands standard operating procedures.
• Receives job- and task-specific training prior to work commencing.
• Follows technical, quality, and safety systems in place and determines appropriate action.
• Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.
• Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
• Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.

Per Diem of $95.00 daily to cover lodging, meals and travel during rotation.
